This one-of-a-kind shadow box centers a Papilio protenor “Spangle” butterfly alongside a preserved Heterometrus laoticus scorpion, creating a quiet tension between fragility and defense. Surrounding them: dried botanicals, an opalite crescent moon, mink vertebrae and jaw fragments, and hand-selected tumbled stones—each element placed with intention, like a page from a naturalist’s journal.
